As a budtender, I get to try out a lot of different cannabis products (read the grape pie live rosin review). Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the Raspberry Hashplant #1 Live Rosin by 710 Labs. This is a tier 2 live rosin, which means it is made using high-quality fresh frozen cannabis.

Aroma

When I first opened up the container, I was disappointed in the raspberry hashplant when I found that there wasn’t much of an aroma to speak of. I was expecting a sweet and fruity scent, but there was only a hint of earthiness.

Taste

Unfortunately, the lack of aroma from the raspberry hashplant carried over to the taste as well. The flavor was not very memorable in any way. I was expecting a burst of raspberry flavor, but it just tasted like any other rosin.

Consistency

On the positive side, the consistency of the raspberry hashplant was a nice pull and snap. However, like most rosins, it will need to stay cool to stop it from buttering up.

Effects

Despite the lackluster aroma and taste, the effects of the Raspberry Hashplant #1 Live Rosin were uplifting without much sedating feeling at all. It’s a good choice for those who want a boost of energy without feeling too couch-locked.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I would not purchase this live rosin again. While the effects were decent, the lack of aroma and taste left much to be desired. There are better live rosins out there that provide a more enjoyable experience.

Pass it along!

  1. Thanks for the honest and informative review, you saved me from wasting $80 on this. I also prefer fruity terps to earthy tones.

    1. Very happy I could help you out with this one. 710 usually produces some really great products, but this one to me was definitely a fail. Usually, when the flower is grown with, living soil, the terps will come through better, not the case with this batch.
